Schedule: Friday–Sunday, overnight shifts

Required Before You Apply

This position provides direct client support in a residential substance use treatment and detox setting.  Applicants must hold a current, valid LVN license, EMT certification, CNA certification, or CCMA certification.

We are seeking candidates who are comfortable monitoring vital signs, recognizing changes in client condition, supporting clients experiencing withdrawal, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Are available to work overnight shifts Friday through Sunday in Pomona.

• Hold SUDRC or RADTI registration, or are willing to obtain it before starting employment.

• Have current CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications, or can obtain them before starting employment.

Previous detox or residential treatment experience is strongly preferred. Behavioral health or psychiatric care experience is also valuable.

Compensation

• CCMA, EMT, or CNA: $26–$29 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications.

• CCMA, EMT, or CNA with more than six months of detox or supervisory experience: $29 per hour.

• LVN: $35 per hour.

About the Position

Wellness Detox LA, a member of Quadrant Health Group, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Client Care Coordinator to support clients during detox and residential treatment.

This is a hands-on position involving direct client interaction, health monitoring, medication support, documentation, and facility safety. The position reports to the Client Care Supervisor.

All clinical responsibilities are assigned according to the employee’s credential, training, authorized scope of practice, and facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Client Monitoring and Withdrawal Support

• Obtain and document vital signs, observe client behavior, and promptly report changes or concerns.

• Support clients experiencing active withdrawal symptoms, emotional distress, or behavioral challenges.

• Complete or assist with CIWA/COWS monitoring as permitted by credentials, training, and facility protocols.

• Perform nursing and head-to-toe assessments when authorized by professional licensure.

• Complete scheduled client safety rounds and provide thorough shift reports.

Medication Support and Documentation

• Support and document client self-administration of medication according to facility procedures and assigned responsibilities.

• Maintain accurate medication records, logs, and inventory counts.

• Report medication discrepancies, missed doses, or client concerns promptly.

• Coordinate with licensed staff, pharmacies, and prescribers as directed.

• Maintain timely, accurate records in the electronic health record.

Client Service and Teamwork

• Communicate calmly and respectfully with clients, including those who are upset or need additional support.

• Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compassionate care.

• Coordinate with clinical staff and management to support continuity of care.

• Manage competing priorities, follow through on assigned tasks, and communicate concerns promptly.

Safety and Facility Support

• Follow infection control procedures and maintain clean, organized care areas.

• Assist with specimen collection and screening procedures as authorized.

• Monitor supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.

• Assist with routine facility upkeep, including laundry, restocking, and maintaining safe common areas.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• At least six months of experience in detox, residential treatment, behavioral health, or psychiatric care.

• Familiarity with CIWA/COWS assessments and clients experiencing substance withdrawal.

• Ability to recognize concerning vital signs and promptly escalate findings according to facility protocols.

• Basic pharmacology knowledge relevant to assigned responsibilities.

• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and documentation skills.

• Sound judgment and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

• Experience using electronic health records.
