Hospice House Staff Nurse - RN Night Shift

What you must have:

• Current state registered nurse license
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
• Two years of experience as an RN preferred in a healthcare/clinical setting

What you will do:

• During rounds observes, assess, documents and reports resident conditions and/or changes
• Implement the individualized Plan of Care as directed
• Identify significant changes in the condition of residents and takes necessary action per facility policies and procedures
• Oversees and monitors certified nurse aides
• Discharge residents per facility
• Completion of nursing assessment for physician calls prior to calling physician on any change in resident condition
• Communicate with resident's point of contact when they ask for status updates or if there is a change in condition
• Provide training to other staff as needed
• Utilize excellent customer care skills with internal and external customers, including using proper phone etiquette
• Timely submission of all documentation
• Performance of other duties as required
• Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
