Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
• Licensure: An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Indiana is necessary to commence the assignment.
• Certification: BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience: Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred, including skills in evaluation, care plan development, and functional treatment planning.
• Documentation Skills: Familiarity with documenting evaluations, writing goals, creating letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in accordance with payer and clinic policies is preferred.
• Leadership: Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to support staff, as well as participate in the clinical education of students, is preferred.
• Professional Development: Maintain licensure and fulfill state-required continuing education. Compliance with the state Practice Act and professional conduct standards is mandatory.
