Job Summary Provide, promote and maintain quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures through education, standards of practice, professional growth, and collaboration with other multidisciplinary health care providers. Responsibilities Initiate and document a written plan of care within a specified timeframe. Perform patient interventions completely and proficiently, demonstrating age‑specific competency for the population served. Verify, during hospitalization, the accuracy of orders (including medication reconciliation), appropriate scheduling of tests and/or procedures, pre‑op data, and consent forms. Follow medication and IV therapy policies, ensuring patient identification, understanding of medications, correct administration, and reporting of interactions 100 % of the time; monitor first‑dose medications for adverse reactions. Interpret diagnostic data and take appropriate action when indicated, such as notifying physicians of critical lab values per hospital protocol. Perform related duties as required. Qualifications Required Associate’s degree in Nursing. Clinical experience reviewed individually for acceptability. A valid Permanent Multi‑State RN License in the state of residence; if you hold a RN license from another Compact state, obtain a Multi‑State RN License within 30 days. American Heart Association BLS CPR required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire. American Heart Association ACLS and NIHSS required within orientation for ICU/CCU, SICU, and CVICU. Preferred One year of telemetry experience. CCRN certification.
