Job Full Description WELDER / FABRICATOR - STATESVILLE - $20/HR + BASED ON EXPERIENCE Qualified candidates must be able to pass an AWS weld test in the 2F position using FCAW to be a certified welder.
Lay out, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications.
Ensure all parts are fitted and welded correctly.
Read weld symbols and check weld size using weld fillet gauges.
Set machines according to procedure charts.
Follow weld procedures as it applies to volts, amps & wire feed speed.
Remove rough spots from workpieces using portable power tools.
Heat material to required temperature using temperature sticks and heating torches/cutting torches (read and follow pre-heat & inter-pass temperature tables).
Follow guidance and correct assemblies per quality control's instruction. Mooresville, NC
