Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Patient Transport & Turn Technician safely lifts and turns patients using Safe Patient Handling equipment as necessary. Transports patients to locations within the hospital. Includes checking identifiers according to internal hospital policy and procedures and in compliance with external regulations.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ years of medical/clinical experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to use technology-based transport/lift deployment system and electronic medical record. Ability to handle physical requirements of the job and safe patient handling equipment.

Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience. BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Pay Scale Information

USD $33,072.00 - USD $51,188.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
