Job Description:


- Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)
- Flexible Start Times: Starting as early as 0600, with staggered start times until 0830.
- Position: Nursing role in Pre/Postoperative care
- Start Date: ASAP
- First-Time Traveler: Welcome!
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
- Weekend Requirements: None

Facility Highlights:


- Type of Facility: Acute Care Facility
- Scrub Color: Scrubs or business casual attire
- Patient Ratios: 2 patients per nurse
- Daily Census: Approximately 10 patients
- Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional care in the Preoperative and PACU settings
- Monitor patient conditions with skills such as:
- End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
- Airway assessment
- Conscious Sedation
- Manage medication reconciliation and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support and interpretation services
- Float between sister facilities as required

Certifications Required:


- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS

Skills Required:


- Experience in various procedures including:
- Central line care/management
- Blood product administration
- Discharge instructions
- Pain management

Expectations:


- Must commit to a flexible schedule to meet department needs
- Participate in orientation (40 hours required)
- Provide two references covering a year of work experience

RTO Restrictions:


- No more than 7 days
