Trade Specialist – Northern CA Join our Commercial Construction field sales team as a virtual employee based in San Jose. This role focuses on driving top‑line sales for DEWALT and other brand lines to end‑user customers. The Job Achieve sales targets by selling DEWALT, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to end‑user customers. Build, develop, and maintain key relationships with end‑user partners through product and service solutions, managing core and other SBD user contracts. Coach the local market team on end‑user development strategies, sourcing contacts, and aligning efforts with distributors and service centers. Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives. Maintain SalesForce.com as a CRM and planning tool, communicating successes and challenges to improve processes. The Person Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for education. 3+ years of sales/marketing experience in construction supplies with a proven record of results, including selling to executives and jobsite directors. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to combine empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% within the territory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
