Exciting Opportunity for Compasionate RN!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team working 3x12 hour shifts from 15:00 to 03:30!
- Required Qualifications:
- Active California RN License
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience required


- Key Responsibilities:
- Float as necessary across departments
- Work every other weekend
- Expected to cover 2 of 3 major upcoming holidays

- Clinical Skills Needed:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Expertise in central line care/management
- Experience with continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors
- Proficient in BiPAP/CPAP management and interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Care of ventilated patients

- Patient Care Details:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services
- Manage a diverse patient demographic: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
- Engage with a daily census of 2300-2500/month and an average of 79 visits per day

- Additional Requirements:
- Submit SSN and DOB at the time of application
- Background policy to be acknowledged prior to submission
- Valid California license required at submission time
- Candidates must float within the hospital as needed
