Position Summary
Zachry Construction is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to safely and efficiently operate a loader for plant and general dirt work operations. The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading subgrade and roadway materials, supporting production operations, and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently according to company standards.

Position Summary
Zachry Construction is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to safely and efficiently operate a loader for plant and general dirt work operations. The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading subgrade and roadway materials, supporting production operations, and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently according to company standards.
What You'll Do
- Operate a loader to move, load, and distribute various subgrade and roadway materials.
- Support plant operations and general dirt work as assigned.
- Follow all required company and project safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and report maintenance needs or equipment issues.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure proper functionality.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to coordinate material flow.
- Perform tasks requiring extended periods of sitting, walking, or standing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 4 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including loaders.
- Proficient in loader operation for material handling, subgrade work, and site preparation.
- Physical ability to perform assigned tasks, including walking on uneven terrain and climbing equipment ladders.
- Knowledge of general construction and equipment operation safety procedures.
- Experience with other heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, or dozers preferred.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors to improve operational skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
