Job Description

The Senior Enterprise Architect – Security, Identity & Infrastructure is a senior consulting resource responsible for leading complex Microsoft security, identity, endpoint, infrastructure, and cloud architecture engagements. This role expands the Enterprise Architect function by combining broad Microsoft infrastructure depth with advanced security, compliance, regulated-industry, and government-sector experience.

The role serves as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, an escalation resource for complex technical situations, a mentor to consulting delivery resources, and a contributor to reusable consulting intellectual property. The ideal candidate can support advisory tickets, DSE engagements, approved root cause analyses, assessments, projects, and pre-sales opportunities while maintaining strong documentation, scope discipline, and client-first communication.

Skills and Requirements

-Current or past public trust

• 10+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in a consultative or architecture capacity.

• Deep experience with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Conditional Access, MFA, federation, SSO, and identity governance.

• Deep experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, DNS, ADCS, PKI, and related hybrid infrastructure services.

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview.

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, device compliance, application deployment, Windows security, and endpoint security baselines.

• Experience designing, reviewing, or remediating Azure infrastructure, Azure networking, Azure virtual machines, backup, recovery, monitoring, and security configurations.

• Strong PowerShell experience, including automation, reporting, data collection, troubleshooting, and repeatable assessment tooling.

• Demonstrated ability to lead assessments, document findings, present remediation plans, and guide customers through technical decision-making.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an extended consulting, PMO, support, and account team. If they had a military clearance or secret clearance in the past is great - some kind of background of security
