ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Evening Shift) in Nyack, New York.

Schedule/Shift

Shifts are 12 hours, from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with a minimum of 3 days a week required. Weekend and holiday requirements apply.

Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) is a Level III Trauma, STEMI Receiving, and Stroke Center with 44 beds, 3 trauma bays, and 12 psych beds. On average, the ED treats 145-150 patients a day. RNs will participate in triage if they have previous experience. The nursing team works with PCA s for patient care and lab draws. The charting system used is EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Participate in triage and take assignments based on experience.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and assessments accurately using EPIC.
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:8-10.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Emergency Department is required. A valid New York RN license is necessary.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification preferred
• NIHSS certification
