Position Highlights

The section of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Virginia Mason Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Pain fellowship trained Physiatrist with interest and experience in managing musculoskeletal conditions. The section provides musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation services with a full complement of rehabilitation providers including PT, OT, psychologists and nursing support. This position is 100% outpatient and will primarily focus on conservative and interventional management of musculoskeletal and pain conditions at our downtown and Lynnwood locations. Teaching and research opportunities are available and an interest in outcomes research and systems-based approaches is a plus.

This position is part of our growth and quality strategy for spine and msk care in coordination with our anesthesia pain and spine surgery sections. Our section has been instrumental in the award winning team-based "Seattle Spine Clinic" approach to managing patients with spine conditions. ( .

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Physiatry and Pain Management

• Fellowship training in Pain Management

• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA

• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice

Pay Range

$277,198 - $393,120 /year
