Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Physician – Michigan

Start Date: September 2025

Location: Central Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: On-call shift coverage, one week per month (5th week rotation). 24/7 hospital coverage including labor and delivery, emergency department support, surgical coverage, and acute/urgent surgical needs. Average patient volume of 4 deliveries per day.

Highlights:

Long-term locum tenens assignment anticipated through January 2, 2027
Comprehensive OB/GYN case mix including low-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBAC
Support staff includes 2 Nurse Practitioners for collaborative care delivery
Cerner EMR system in use
Procedural scope includes repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, OB ultrasound, and amniocentesis
Malpractice coverage included

Requirements:

Board Certification in OB/GYN required
Active Michigan state medical license required (no exceptions)
Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN clinical experience required
Current NPDB report (within last 30 days)
Availability for on-call and weekend coverage
