Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department as a Boarder RN in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment. This is a Travel assignment where nurses will be responsible for the care of med/surg boarder patients within one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. No prior ED experience is necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Boarder RN

• Provide care for med/surg boarder patients within the Emergency Department
• Manage a patient load of 1:5 with support from assistive personnel
• Deliver nursing care with a diverse range of diagnoses
• Work in collaboration with the Emergency Department team

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Boarder RN

• Valid New York State RN License
• 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• Telemetry experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (preferred but not required)
