Customer Service Supervisor

Position Overview The Customer Service Supervisor manages employees and shift operations, greets and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. Responsibilities Greet employees as they enter and exit for their shifts and be attentive to the ebb and flow of daily traffic patterns. Oversee parking operations and ensure 24/7 professional parking management under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Build a "Never Ever Give Up" culture. Respond promptly to problems and resolve them, while demonstrating a caring attitude and developing rapport with employees and customers. Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and direct traffic safely. Close traffic lanes when necessary and communicate the issue to the team, remaining attentive to traffic until resolved. Monitor all kiosks and pay stations, report any device issues, and provide clear instructions to customers. Promote excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor and can-do attitude. Submit maintenance reports and document all issues. Maintain the appearance and functionality of grounds and equipment, and report problems. Work collaboratively with the team, communicating issues and needs in a timely, consistent, and professional manner. Complete required documentation for hours worked. Perform other related duties as assigned. Mentor, coach, and motivate staff, support diversity, and establish an effective team. Adapt to changing duties as the role evolves. Handle any additional duties as needed. Qualities and Experience Dynamic, charismatic, energetic, and eager to assist patrons within guidelines. Dependable, responsible, and consistently reliable. Resilient under pressure and not easily overwhelmed. Can work independently or with supervision. Communicates professionally and effectively. Open to feedback and differing viewpoints. Timely and demonstrates a sense of urgency. Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills. Motivates and follows the location's requirements while inspiring the team. Mentor capable of training, leading, counseling, and aiding employees' career growth. Education High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Strong customer service experience. Cash handling experience preferred but not required. Parking industry experience preferred but not required. Supervisory or managerial experience required. Skills Willingness to be flexible, learn, and work various facility locations and shifts. Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations. Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English. Dependable, reliable, and accountable for actions. Reliable in handling and returning company equipment. Physical Demands Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 10 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
