Experience: Preferred in acute care facility

License: Required Registered Nurse licensure

Certifications: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Must-Have: EPIC experience required

Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Employs independent judgment in patient care delivery. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery while promoting health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and humane care. Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates the duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients through required vaccinations. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
