Quality Technician

The Quality Technician I assists with quality-related activities at our facilities. This role drives in‑process quality within the Cultivation and Manufacturing areas and reports directly to the Site Quality Manager for continuous improvement. This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances. Responsibilities Ensure that cGMP or cGAP standards, quality policies and procedures are adhered to according to state regulations. Collaborate with external and internal audit processes. Participate in root cause analysis for quality outages. Approve standard work for cells prior to production, including ATP swabbing. Execute all daily tasks, projects and objectives with 100% accuracy. Conduct inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality. Maintain a culture of professionalism and service. Ensure daily compliance with policies, including state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules. Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non‑disclosure notices. Contribute to Lean process improvements for the Manufacturing quality programs. Implement and monitor sanitation practices. Oversee disposal of non‑conforming material (green waste). Adhere to food and allergen safety policies. Qualifications Embrace a mindset of Extreme Ownership, taking full responsibility for contributions and driving positive outcomes. Lean experience. Experience working in a Manufacturing environment that follows GMP standards. Utilize critical thinking to troubleshoot issues, collaborate with a team to brainstorm solutions, and implement improvement solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow written procedures and monitor others for adherence to written procedures. Self‑motivated. Analytical and data interpretation skills. Strong attention to detail. ServSafe certification (if required by state regulations). Responsible Vendor Training (if required by state regulations). Education High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 1+ year of quality experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Legal and Compliance Must be 21 years old.
