Job Title Limited Term Instructor - Political Science, Criminology, & Public Administration – Pool Location UWG Recruiting Location Job Type Regular; Full-Time (as applicable to term contract) Job Summary The University of West Georgia is expanding course offerings and faculty to meet increased student demand. This position is a limited-term teaching role in Political Science, Criminology, and Public Administration to support undergraduate and graduate programs. Limited-term faculty teach courses (typically four or five per semester, negotiable with the dean), participate in some service, and engage in professional development. You will be supported by colleagues in your discipline with course materials, mentorship, and other resources. As a full-time faculty member, you will have access to institutional resources to aid your success. Responsibilities Teach courses in Political Science, Criminology, and Public Administration as assigned (typically four or five courses per semester, negotiable with the dean). Engage in service activities and participate in professional development opportunities as available. Collaborate with department colleagues and utilize provided course materials and mentorship resources. Qualifications Required: Master's degree in field of study. Preferred: Doctorate degree in field of study; teaching experience. Salary Salary based on education and experience.
