Overview

Now Hiring! Deco Operator.

Pay Type: Hourly.

Schedule: 12-hour shift. ( preferably for the night shift (7PM - 7AM )

Location: Nashua, NH.

Job Overview:

Deco operators will repair, maintain, and operate equipment used in applying the decoration to the cans.

What you will do:

• Ensure proper operation of large industrial equipment such as Concord 36mrt Decorators and pinchain ovens
• Uses hand and power tools such as wrenches, ratchets, various power tools, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to ensure equipment is running correctly and product is within required specifications
• Must have a keen eye for details
• Set up various printed jobs on the decorators. To include registration of images and exact color matching
• Troubleshoots and repairs machines when unexpected issues arise.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Conducts safety inspections of the equipment and area assigned (deco)
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to see fine print and diagnose registration issues on cans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines, rules, and laws.
• Must be able to work well within a team environment or on one’s own.
• Must be able to pass a color test.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational school or associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a mechanical role.
• Prior printing experience is preferred.
