About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN Must-Have: - Previous charge experience: 2 years - Experience with patient ratio management - Proficient in Epic charting system - Skills in acute kidney injury management - Blood product administration - Care of ventilated patients - Central line care and management - Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Ventilator management Description: This position involves working in a critical care environment. The expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2. The nurse may be required to float between units based on skill sets. Weekends are required, with scheduling expected every other weekend. No on-call duty is required for this position. The facility provides interdisciplinary support services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. Nurses will be responsible for continuous monitoring of patients and administering medications as needed. This includes managing complex medical devices and therapies. Candidates must possess the required skills and experience to ensure high-quality patient care. Inflexibility regarding scheduling may result in termination of the assignment. All necessary communication devices will be provided for work duties.
