Job Title

RN Flex Pool – Nights (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 hours per week following orientation

Key Responsibilities

• Float between multiple medical and surgical units including a medical unit, a surgical acute unit, and a cardiovascular unit
• Provide direct patient care across units with varying nurse-to-patient ratios (up to 1:8 on nights for the medical unit, 1:6 for surgical acute, and 1:4 for cardiovascular)
• Operate unit-specific equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Adhere to unit-specific orientation and training programs upon assignment to each department
• Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) in accordance with dress code policy

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience (up to 10 years preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Documented proof of required immunities (medical and religious exemptions are not accepted in lieu of documentation)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certifications in PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC
• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit nursing role
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems
