Travel Radiation Therapist at Teaching Hospital (Varian/Aria)

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with Ohio license and ARRT certification for a teaching hospital cancer center offering advanced treatment technologies. Requirements License required if applicable: active Ohio state license at time of submission ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Technology required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with 5+ years preferred Teaching hospital experience preferred Fully competent on Varian TrueBeam, Halcyon, and Aria treatment systems Experience with Vision RT and OSMS preferred DIBH and head and neck cancer treatment experience preferred Experience with SRS, respiratory gating, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging preferred Experience treating a range of cancers including Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, kidney, testicular, and pediatric cancers preferred Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department at a cancer treatment center Adult and pediatric patient population across acute care and outpatient settings Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm with variable shifts 8.5-hour shifts with 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks 40 expected weekly hours No weekend or on-call requirements Uses Varian TrueBeam linacs, Halcyon, and Aria version 15 for treatment Vision RT or OSMS knowledge preferred Deliver radiation therapy treatments using advanced linear accelerator technology in a teaching hospital setting First week includes onboarding schedule of 8am-4:30pm Scrub attire required, black pants with any top Open to first-time travelers with experience in a large department setting utilizing ARIA and TrueBeam Local candidates accepted at the same rate RTO must be submitted with application and built into contract, limited to 7 days or less Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility Current employees are ineligible for travel positions at this health system Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed urgently upon contract signing Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-773062 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
