About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management Design and Construction to lead the full lifecycle of design and construction projects, with a focus on the NYC Groceries initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for departmental management and leadership, project execution, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a strategic approach to project development, including procurement, budgeting, and securing regulatory approvals. The VP will also be tasked with ensuring that projects align with the organization's goals and are delivered on time and within budget. Essential duties include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project risks, and effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of professional experience. A background in architecture, engineering, urban planning, or construction management is essential, with a preference for experience in NYC project delivery and grocery store design/construction. The role demands a proven track record in project management, team leadership, and staff development. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, adept at problem-solving, and have a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective relationship management, communication skills, and knowledge of budgeting and cost analysis for design and construction projects are also required.
