Responsibilities: Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other finishing services Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and care Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe grooming environment Communicate with pet owners about grooming preferences and coat health Safely restrain and calm anxious or nervous dogs during grooming sessions Requirements: Previous professional dog grooming experience 3 + yrs preferred Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and techniques Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments & ages safely Strong attention to detail and a passion for animal care Excellent communication and customer service skills Grooming certification or formal training is a plus Reliable, punctual, and a true animal lover Must be available to work Saturdays About Us: Furever Love Bakery & Grooming a pet care company based in Rye, NY, dedicated to providing exceptional, loving care for every dog that walks through our doors.
