Why This Role is Perfect for Pre-Med Students This is not a typical MA job. You'll gain direct, hands-on clinical experience working side-by-side with providersideal for students planning to apply to medical, PA, or other healthcare professional schools.

In this role, you will:

• Work 1:1 with dermatology providers in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Gain exposure to patient exams, procedures, and surgical workflows
• Develop strong clinical documentation and patient communication skills
• Build meaningful patient care experience hours for applications
• Receive mentorship from experienced healthcare professionals

What You'll Do

• Prepare patients for exams, take histories (HPI), and assist providers during visits
• Document patient encounters in the EMR in real time
• Assist with procedures (biopsies, surgeries, injections, etc.)
• Support patient flow and ensure a high-quality patient experience
• Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage clinical supplies
• Communicate with patients regarding results, follow-ups, and care plans
