As part of this strategy, we are establishing a new Mid-Market Director role aligned to each of WTW’s six U.S. geographic regions.Each Mid-Market Director will have primary responsibility for ADML delivery, market leadership, and client success within their assigned geography.This is a new role that requires flexibility, comfort with ambiguity, and an entrepreneurial mindset to help build, scale, and refine a differentiated mid-market offering.The RoleOwn ADML delivery for mid-market clients (500–5,000 lives) within an assigned U.S. geographyServe as the senior day-to-day ADML leader for assigned relationships, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfactionLead projects involving the design and management of absence, disability, leave, life, and AD&D programsApply deep expertise across claims, underwriting, implementation, and ongoing plan managementOversee vendor procurement, negotiation, optimization, and performance auditsPartner with regional sales and leadership teams to support new business pursuits and expansion opportunitiesHelp define and refine mid-market ADML processes, workflows, and delivery standardsServe as a people leader and mentor to consultants supporting mid-market clientsContribute to the development of intellectual capital, tools, and scalable solutions for mid-market ADMLEmployment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this role.QualificationsQualifications10+ years of experience in ADML consulting, brokerage, carrier, or vendor environmentsStrong hands-on knowledge of disability claims management, underwriting, and implementationProven ability to manage complex client engagements and multiple stakeholdersExperience operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountabilityDemonstrated flexibility and problem-solving ability in evolving environmentsStrong financial, analytical, and communication skillsExperience mentoring or leading junior staffBachelor’s degree required; quantitative coursework preferredState Life and Health license required within 90 days of hireAbility to travel approximately 15–25%, primarily day travelThis position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation.
