Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy in results by analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary preventive maintenance and calibration on sophisticated lab instruments.
• Be actively involved in specimen collection, preparing samples for testing as necessary.
• Document procedures meticulously, engage in training new colleagues or students, and contribute to maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe work environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation standards at all times.

Education Requirements

• Earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or possess an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Expectations

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
