Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting tenants and visitors. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to access concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.32 - $19.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Sat 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access to the commercial property by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing visitor passes, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Observe access points, entrances, loading areas, and common spaces for unusual activity, unauthorized entry attempts, or policy concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, perimeter, parking areas, and common areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
