What You Will Do:

• Lead on-site execution of requirements-based testing robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
• Perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for the CH-53K Israel program.
• Be responsible for the overall testing for the CH-53K Israel customer of different Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) updates.
• Formulating requirements/test procedures preparing and coordinating test events. You will be preparing test schedules test statuses and the test environment. Tools used are TLDB DOORS JIRA PREP Microsoft SVN and others.
• Have the responsibility to maintain support investigate the Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment; including integration and investigation of the interfaces for Collin Aerospace equipment and government furnished equipment in the lab.
• Design system solutions ensuring the integration of Collins Aerospace products into complex upgrade programs.
• Navigate through the bids & pursuits adhering to Collins Processes.
• 10% travel as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience in a Test Lead role.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance.
• Collins Aerospaces Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience.
  Avionics test lead experience.
• Experience (military or civil aircraft) in avionics systems specifically testing and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge / understanding of data busses and protocols (Ethernet MIL-STD-1553B and ARINC-429).
• Experience with TLDB DOORS PREP JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite is desired.
• Strong organizational skills including associated documentation.
• Communicate with a wide variety of technical and management personnel as well the customer normally active-duty military and associated contractors.
• Research test requirements and prepare test plans and procedures.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
