Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Float)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting at a Level 1 Trauma facility with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to Intermediate/Stepdown units as needed, with ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
• Deliver care across inpatient units at or below ICU skill level within a multi-facility regional enterprise
• Adapt to shift-day facility assignments, which are communicated the morning or afternoon prior to the start of each shift
• Travel between regional facilities as required, with locations ranging approximately 35 to 60 minutes from the primary site

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Active NC RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma environment
• Comfort with floating across multiple inpatient units and facilities
