Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physiatrist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will diagnose and manage patients with physical disabilities or impairments, with a focus on restoring function and enhancing quality of life. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

·         Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical and functional limitations.

·         Develop personalized treatment plans involving therapy, medication, and rehabilitation.

·         Perform minor procedures such as suturing and Botulinum toxin administration.

·         Oversee discharge planning for smooth patient transitions to home or rehab settings.

·         Deliver urgent care and basic life support when needed.

·         Stay informed on developments in addiction medicine and related specialties.

·         Proficient in managing ventilated patients and minor surgical interventions.

Experience and License:

·         Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.

·         Completion of a PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) residency program (current residents nearing completion are welcome to apply).

·         Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

·         California medical license (active or in process).

·         DEA license and ability to prescribe medications as required.
