Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with multiple modalities, including trauma, interventional radiology, cardiovascular, and vascular, is preferred.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, including assessing, preparing, and positioning patients; performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary; implementing and documenting the plan of care; communicating patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures; and setting up and providing equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Department manages multiple modalities, including trauma, interventional radiology, cardiovascular, and vascular. Uses Merge Hemo.

Shift & Scheduling: Must be able to respond within 30 minutes during call shifts. For 12-hour schedules, flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
