The base hourly hiring range for this position is: $26.02-$29.39

Responsibilities

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Operates and controls primary power generation and HVAC systems, including boilers, turbines, generators, reactors, chillers, and cooling towers using control boards and computers.
• Monitors facility equipment, meters, gauges, and charts at regular intervals to regulate power flow, adjust fluid levels, and detect operational problems.
• Performs preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairssuch as tightening leaking glands and pipe jointsto prevent equipment deterioration or failure.
• Records and compiles operational data in logs, forms, and reports, and documents equipment malfunctions to ensure accurate tracking of plant status.
• Responds to power outages and emergencies by handling outage calls, summoning necessary personnel, and participating in mandatory meetings, training, and special projects.

License:

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of trade school

Work Experience:

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
