Mechanical Engineer

Adecco Staffing is working with a leading manufacturing company in Devens, MA to bring on an experienced Mechanical Engineer on a direct hire basis. This is fully on site in Devens. Shift: Monday – Friday, 9-5 Pay: $85,000 - 100,000 annually Location: Devens, MA Job Duties: · Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing productivity, quality, and efficiency · Develop and standardize tooling, fixtures, assembly processes, and manufacturing equipment · Support production teams by identifying opportunities to improve product quality and throughput · Create and maintain process controls, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation · Collaborate with New Product Development teams to ensure manufacturability and production readiness · Troubleshoot assembly equipment and manufacturing process issues to minimize downtime · Support capital equipment projects and manufacturing site expansion initiatives · Oversee procurement and implementation of tools, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids · Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production and quality issues · Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards · Support ECO (Engineering Change Order) processes and documentation updates · Work closely with global engineering and manufacturing teams to implement best practices Requirements: · Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required · 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment · Experience supporting assembly and test processes with a focus on process improvement · Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies · Experience with SPC, FMEA, DFMA, RCA, and quality improvement tools · Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software · Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred · Experience analyzing and improving manufacturing equipment and workflows · Strong troubleshooting, project management, and problem-solving skills · Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams Benefits: · Direct hire opportunity · Competitive salary · Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage · 401(k) with employer contributions and company match · Generous paid time off and holiday schedule · Paid parental leave program · Paid volunteer days · Career growth and professional development opportunities · Collaborative and innovative engineering environment If you are interested in this position, please apply using the link provided and be sure to include an updated resume.
