Part-Time Buyer Assistant | Manufacturing
$20.95/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Buyer Assistant to support a manufacturing purchasing team with purchase orders, ERP data entry, supplier communication, shipment tracking, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support purchase order and purchase order change processing
• Enter PO acknowledgements and shipment information into ERP
• Assist with expediting parts and communicating with suppliers
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records
• Support supplier non-conformance communications
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and organized files
• Provide information and administrative support to manufacturing and purchasing teams
• Assist with various purchasing and administrative projects

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or 3-5 years of related experience preferred
• Manufacturing or purchasing experience strongly preferred
• ERP experience preferred
• Familiarity with purchase orders
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Reliable and comfortable working independently
