Merchandising Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $16.90 - $24.90. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance premiums or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Merchandising Specialist Responsibilities Greets customers on sales floor and assists them in locating merchandise or directs them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed. Checks in, prices, and puts up stock. Keeps merchandise on the display floor fronted and full, and assists with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities on a daily basis. Changes displays according to company guidelines, updates planograms, completes price label changes, and ensures sale signs are in place. Removes all sale materials when sale ends and restores original pricing. Assists with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns. Works with the manager to complete weekly inventory and merchandising tasks. Occasionally serves as a cashier or drives a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements). All other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong organizational skills. Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources. Basic computer skills. Must be able to work well with others in a team environment. Must have a valid driving record and be eligible to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Desired Skills Previous stocking experience. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Benefits Competitive wages and paid time off.
