Division Procurement Director

Your Job As the Division Procurement Director, you will serve as a strategic business partner and value creator, leading procurement, inventory, supplier performance, and storeroom strategies across a multi-site manufacturing network. Working at the intersection of Operations and Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P), you will drive profitability, reliability, working capital optimization, and return on capital through effective sourcing, supplier partnerships, inventory management, and capability development. Guided by Koch's Principle Based Management (PBM) philosophy, you will lead procurement and storeroom transformation efforts, oversee end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) execution and Internal Financial Controls (IFCs), and collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and finance leaders to create sustainable value. This role offers the opportunity to shape division procurement capabilities, influence enterprise sourcing strategies, and lead teams supporting multiple Packaging and Cellulose manufacturing facilities, ensuring procurement delivers meaningful business impact across the organization. Location: This position is located at GP Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a hybrid role with regular in-office presence expected to support collaboration, business partnership, and team leadership. Our Team Georgia-Pacific's Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) organization is responsible for strategically sourcing and procuring the materials, goods, and services that support more than 100 operations across the United States. SS&P is undergoing an exciting transformation focused on strengthening capabilities, improving decision quality, leveraging technology, and creating long-term value through strategic partnerships. This effort is a critical component of Georgia-Pacific's ongoing transformation and provides an opportunity to help shape the future of procurement across the enterprise. What You Will Do Develop and Maximize Team Contribution Lead multi-layered teams of managers, buyers, storeroom personnel, and analysts, fostering positive work environments, capability development, and high performance. Build talent pipelines through effective onboarding, training programs, capability standards, and measurable performance expectations. Apply comparative advantage principles to align talent with roles where they can create the greatest value. Connect team members to business priorities and strategic objectives while fostering ownership and contribution motivation. Drive Strategy and Value Creation Translate operational needs into enterprise sourcing strategies that improve reliability, profitability, working capital, and supplier performance. Lead execution of SS&P strategic priorities across the Packaging and Cellulose segment. Develop and strengthen strategic supplier relationships and supplier performance management processes. Apply economic thinking, opportunity cost, and total-value decision making when evaluating sourcing and supplier strategies. Lead Procurement, Controls, and Storeroom Performance Own division-wide Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including standard work, governance processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement. Ensure Internal Financial Controls (IFCs) are understood, appropriately managed, and consistently executed. Partner with maintenance and operations teams to improve MRO and services sourcing effectiveness and site competitiveness. Drive inventory optimization, reserve reduction, and procurement process improvements that improve working capital performance while supporting operational reliability. Integrate Stakeholders and Lead Transformation Influence and partner across operations, maintenance, reliability, finance, accounting, and corporate leadership to align priorities and accelerate value creation. Lead organizational and process transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, standardization efforts, and continuous improvement programs. Represent SS&P in enterprise initiatives and help scale best practices across the division. Foster a Winning PBM Culture Apply PBM principles including comparative advantage, economic thinking, aligned incentives, and knowledge sharing to strengthen capability and performance. Reduce variability through scalable, enterprise-wide processes while promoting a "One GP Way" mindset. Foster a culture of respectful challenge, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience leading teams supporting multi-site manufacturing operations, including leadership of managers and indirect teams. Experience owning Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and Internal Financial Controls within a manufacturing, industrial, or asset-intensive environment. Experience applying economic thinking and total-value decision making across sourcing, inventory, supplier, or operational decisions. Experience partnering and influencing across operations, maintenance, reliability, finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Experience leading organizational change, transformation initiatives, or process improvement efforts. What Will Put You Ahead Experience leading MRO, outage, and services sourcing within asset-intensive manufacturing environments. Experience supporting containerboard, corrugated, pulp, cellulose, paper, chemical, or similar industrial manufacturing operations. Experience optimizing storeroom operations, inventory management, reserve reduction, and working capital performance. Demonstrated success leading ERP, digital procurement, analytics, or process transformation initiatives with sustained adoption and measurable value realization. Experience developing supplier performance management programs and long-term strategic supplier partnerships. Experience establishing KPI frameworks, governance processes, and standard work that improve consistency across multiple operations. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
