Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our shipping and receiving team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, moving materials throughout the warehouse, and ensuring accurate inventory handling. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck) safely and efficiently
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
Verify shipment accuracy against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders
Move, stack, and store products in designated warehouse locations
Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling
Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies
Keep warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping/receiving goals

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
1-3 years of forklift experience in a warehouse setting
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Dependable with a strong work ethic
