Sr Front End Developer

Job Description

A large financial client in Cincinnati is looking for a 12 month contract resource to help build a new customer servicing portal designed to streamline policy servicing and reduce the complexity of navigating multiple legacy systems. The goal is to create a modern, centralized digital experience that allows customer service teams and policyholders to complete transactions more efficiently.

The team is building the solution from the ground up using a modern technology stack centered around Sitecore AI, Sitecore XM Cloud, Next.js, and Vercel. This is a greenfield initiative, and the team is seeking experienced developers who can contribute immediately in a fast-paced Agile environment while partnering closely with marketing, architecture, and development teams. The initial release will focus on a small set of servicing transactions, with additional functionality added over time as the platform evolves.

• Design and develop front-end functionality for a new customer servicing portal using Next.js and React

• Build and maintain integrations between Sitecore, internal systems, and customer-facing applications

• Develop reusable UI components and ensure responsive, accessible user experiences

• Work within Sitecore XM Cloud and Sitecore AI to support content delivery and digital experiences

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, marketing teams, QA, and developers to deliver new platform capabilities

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

• Support application deployments through Vercel and assist with troubleshooting production issues

Contribute to the long-term architecture and evolution of the servicing platform as new functionality is introduced

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Strong experience building applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript

§ Strong front-end development skills with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies

• Experience developing and deploying applications in Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments

§ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Experience integrating APIs using REST and/or GraphQL

• Experience building responsive, accessible, and reusable UI components

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment • Experience with Sitecore, Sitecore XM Cloud, or Sitecore AI

• Experience deploying and supporting applications on Vercel

• Experience with authentication, authorization, and secure web application development

• Experience with performance optimization and automated testing frameworks

Experience within financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries
