Local Travel Speech-Language Pathology Assignment

This role is a local travel Speech-Language Pathology assignment in Fargo, North Dakota, lasting 13 weeks. You will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to patients with diverse communication disorders. The position offers competitive weekly pay of up to $2,550 and opportunities for contract extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical goals
• Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing function
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional practice standards
• Promote patient safety while delivering compassionate, high-quality care

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of North Dakota or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous clinical experience in an acute care, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or home health setting
• Minimum of one year of Speech-Language Pathology experience
• Experience evaluating and treating adult and/or pediatric patient populations
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent clinical judgment, documentation, and time-management skills
• Passion for helping patients improve communication and quality of life
