About the Role:

NBC Orthodontics Incorporated is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join their growing team in Georgetown, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside skilled orthodontic professionals in a patient-focused environment where every day you help create confident, beautiful smiles.

Responsibilities:

Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures

Place and remove orthodontic appliances including brackets, wires, and elastics

Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and impressions/digital scans

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care for orthodontic appliances

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation

Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment per infection control protocols

Requirements:

Prior dental or orthodontic assisting experience preferred

Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and dental radiography

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant certification a plus

Current X-ray certification or willingness to obtain

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first, friendly demeanor

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
