Agricultural Refrigeration Technician

Prenger's Inc has been serving the agricultural community since 1949. We specialize in dairy equipment, milk cooling systems, agricultural refrigeration and commercial refrigeration service throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. 

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Service Technician to join our Maria Stein, OH team. This is not a typical HVAC or refrigeration position. Our technicians work on milk cooling systems, dairy equipment, condensing units, commercial refrigeration systems, and emerging technologies used on modern dairy farms. 

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems
• Service milk cooling tanks and related equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls
• Install and start up new equipment
• Work independently 

Approximately 25-30% of the role involves installation work, with the remainder focused on service and repair. 

What We're Looking For

• Refrigeration experience required
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Comfortable working in agricultural environments
• Clean driving record

No dairy industry experience required. We provide industry-specific training.
