The Providence Center is at the forefront of innovative approaches to behavioral health care. The Center meets the changing needs of the more than 18,000 Rhode Islanders it serves each year. The Center is a community resource, providing all people with mental health and substance use services in their homes, schools, and neighborhoods.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Providence Center or in the community. Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned patients. Complete crisis assessments, initial assessments, and integrated summary forms. Develop and implement a plan of care with ongoing consumer input. Provide individual mental health and/or substance abuse treatment and crisis assessment. Perform record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other Center requirements.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Social Work or related field and independent license required (LICSW and/or LMHC).

- Must have insured auto and valid driver's license.
