Roadway Engineer

We are seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative Transportation team in Sanford or Tampa, FL. Department Department: Civil/Municipal Location Location: Sanford, FL Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for roadway projects. Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. Conduct analyses and tests to validate designs and ensure they meet project requirements. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, and status updates. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 2+ years of experience providing engineering support for transportation projects Experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer Engineer in training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license Compensation & Benefits Dependent upon experience.
