Filter Winding TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Filter Winding Technician who will primarily focus on assembling flame filters and winding thin metal to create circular flame arrestors. The role requires an individual with strong mechanical aptitude, capable of reading schematics and blueprints for repairs. Basic building maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters, will also be part of this position. Attention to detail and experience with precision measuring tools are essential.ResponsibilitiesAssemble flame filters using mechanical aptitude.Utilize winding tools to create circular flame arrestors.Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for repair tasks.Perform basic building maintenance, including filter replacement.Ensure precision in measurements using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude.Attention to detail.Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers).Ability to read schematics and blueprints.Good understanding of mechanical equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with valves preferred but not required.Positive attitude and ability to work in a small team of about seven.Ability to multitask effectively.Why Work Here?Join a growing company that is expanding its operations in November 2023. The equipment varies in weight, and some lifting assistance is required. Each valve undergoes pressure testing and must be assembled accurately.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ladson, SC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
