Overview Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist position at Sonova in Edwardsville, IL. We are a global leader in hearing health dedicated to patient-centered care and improving hearing health and human connection through innovative solutions and services. This role supports AudioNova, a Sonova family member, in delivering outstanding audiology care and expanding access to hearing health services in the Edwardsville area. Responsibilities Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend varied treatment and product options Address patients’ questions and concerns regarding benefits of hearing aid use Discuss pricing of hearing instruments, presenting the value of hearing health care, services, and long-term effects of hearing aid use Engage in community outreach to generate new patient referrals Educate patients on how to operate new hearing technology to meet their hearing goals Hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings Perform adjustments to fitted products; comply with company quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and address patient concerns Qualifications Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Illinois Doctorate in Audiology preferred 3rd and 4th year Audiology externs are encouraged to apply Benefits and Details Salary: $50,000-$70,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan Location: Edwardsville, IL Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision; 401k with 3% match; PTO and paid holidays; student loan repayment for audiologists; CEU and licensing reimbursement; 100% free hearing aids for all employees Equal opportunity employer statement: Sonova is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants in the employment process.
