Position Overview The Loan Officer Assistant / Mortgage Outreach Specialist will support our Loan Officers by making outbound calls, speaking with potential borrowers, identifying interest, gathering basic information, and transferring qualified prospects to a licensed Loan Officer. This is a phone‑heavy role. The ideal candidate is confident, coachable, organized, and able to handle rejection without losing focus. You do not need to be a licensed Loan Officer to apply, but mortgage, sales, call center, customer service, or telemarketing experience is helpful. Compensation $17.00 per hour Plus $5.00 per qualified transfer A “qualified transfer” means a prospect is successfully connected to the appropriate Loan Officer based on company standards. Final qualification guidelines will be explained during training. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to prospective mortgage clients Follow approved call scripts and company communication standards Identify potential borrower interest in mortgage products or services Transfer qualified prospects to a licensed Loan Officer Document call outcomes accurately in the company system Follow up with prospects as directed Maintain a professional and respectful tone on every call Ask clear questions and listen carefully to borrower needs Work closely with Loan Officers and management to improve call quality and transfer results Protect borrower information and follow company privacy and compliance standards What We Are Looking For Comfortable making outbound cold calls Clear, confident, and professional on the phone Able to handle rejection and continue working the call list Reliable, punctual, and consistent Coachable and willing to follow a proven process Organized with basic computer and data‑entry skills Motivated by hourly pay plus performance‑based incentives Interested in learning the mortgage industry Able to communicate respectfully with borrowers, teammates, and Loan Officers Preferred Experience Mortgage industry experience Loan Officer Assistant experience Call center experience Telemarketing or inside sales experienceCustomer service experience Experience working with CRM systems Bilingual ability is a plus Important Compliance Note This role is designed to support licensed Loan Officers. Unless properly licensed and authorized, this position does not include quoting rates, discussing loan terms, taking mortgage applications, issuing pre‑approvals, or providing mortgage advice.
