Ensures production runs efficiently by supporting the operator and maintaining proper workflow, organization, and safety standards.Essential Job FunctionsActively puts safety first in all responsibilities, promoting Amcor's safety culture.Performs in-process and final quality inspections on assigned lines, verifying product conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.Conducts testing using established methods and equipment, including gauge/thickness measurement, seal integrity, print registration, and contamination checks.Documents inspection and test results accurately in quality systems and logs; flags non-conforming product and initiates hold procedures.Communicates quality issues and conditions that adversely affect quality or throughput to Production Supervisors and the QA Manager in real time.Supports root cause investigations and corrective actions for internal non-conformances and customer complaints.Calibrates and maintains quality inspection equipment according to established schedules.Reviews and verifies incoming raw material quality against specifications as needed.Supports internal audits and maintains documentation required for ISO 9001 compliance.Trains and provides guidance to production operators on basic quality checks and standardsPhysical RequirementsProlonged standing and walking throughout the shiftFrequent lifting, carrying, and stacking of rolls and materialsRepetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and movementAbility to push/pull and handle materials during production and packagingAbility to climb stairs and move between work areasAbility to perform physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environmentMinimum RequirementsStrong understanding of production process and how to correct quality issues on lineBasic computer skills in word processing and spreadsheetsWorking knowledge of all QA softwareAbility to understand written work instructions and use lab equipmentDemonstrates a commitment to safetyExcellent communication, teamwork and leadership skillsGood understanding of overall plant operationsEqual Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityAmcor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.If you would like more information about your EEO rights as an applicant under the law, please click on the "Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal" Poster.
