Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 5+ years of experience and required travel assignment history for a 13-week contract.

Details

• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating call one night per week
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Performs MRI studies of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
• Utilizes GE MRI equipment and PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of MRI experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Meditech charting experience preferred
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Information

• May assist with training of new staff members during the assignment
• Holiday coverage is required
• RTO must be kept to a minimum at time of consideration
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Former employees of the facility must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
• Orientation includes required non-billable training modules
